China’s air compressor manufacturers are experiencing robust overseas demand in 2026, with screw and piston models leading export growth across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Russia, Central Asia, and Europe. Industry data shows that export inquiries for industrial air compressors rose by 32.5% YoY in Q1 2026, as global manufacturing and infrastructure projects accelerated.

Screw air compressors remain the mainstream choice for factories, workshops, and mining operations due to their high efficiency, stable output, and low maintenance. Meanwhile, piston air compressors are favored in small workshops, construction sites, and rural areas for their low cost, easy operation, and strong adaptability.

Driven by “Belt and Road” initiatives and global energy-saving policies, Chinese manufacturers are upgrading product quality, certification standards (CE, ISO), and after-sales service networks. In 2025, China’s air compressor exports reached USD 4.87 billion, with screw and piston machines accounting for over 70% of the total volume.
